Hemorrhoid Laser Surgery

photo credit: Andy G According to surveys, only about 10% of all hemorrhoid patients have to go through hemorrhoid laser surgery. There are a lot of non-surgical options you can choose from if your case is less severe.
However, if its your internal hemorrhoid that’s affected, you will most likely need to undergo a surgical procedure. Inflammation in the internal hemorrhoid is considerably more serious but it’s also less painful.
If you notice blood in your stool even if you’re not experiencing any specific pain in your anal canal, you should notify your physician right away. Your doctor can perform a rectal X-ray which can determine if your internal hemorrhoids are sever. This could lead to a hemorrhoid laser surgery procedure.
