The condition of hemroids is also know by piles. They are caused by excessive pressure or stretching on the blood vessels that are used in movements in the bowel. They can be likened to the problem of varicose veins.
The two main types of hemorroids are called internal hemorrhoids and external hemorrhoids. The internal type is located around the area of the rectum whereas the external hemorid is found around the area of the anus. With both types comes the problem of bleeding.
Other symptoms are itiching ( I consider this the worst) and the pain. All in all it makes the condition very uncomfortable and also embarrassing. This is gauged by sufferers unwilling to talk about or acknowledge that they have hemroids.
