Remedy for Hemroids
Experts agree that most people will likely experience hemroids at one point in their lives. It is therefore necessary that we know how to prevent or treat this often irritating and painful condition. Primarily, dietary fiber and physical activity are the most important factors to consider as the cornerstone of home remedy for hemroids.
Hemroids are most often caused by too much straining on the toilet due to constipation. An increased intake of dietary fiber will help loosen the bowel and soften your stool, thereby avoiding constipation. Increased physical activity will also help relieve pressure from your pelvic muscles and strengthen them so that bowel movement will be a lot easier.
To support the dietary adjustments and mild exercise routines, you should also limit your time in the toilet to a maximum of five minutes and avoid putting too much pressure on your pelvic muscles by using a footstool whenever you will be seated for an extended period of time. Taking sitz baths is also a very effective home remedy for hemroids, and to maximize its effect you should sit on an ice pack right after the bath.
