Treating a Ruptured Hemorrhoid Effectively

The treatment of your ruptured hemorrhoid will depend greatly on its position in your anal canal and the severity of the hemorrhoid’s damage.

If you’ve been suffering from chronic constipation for years, and the affected hemorrhoid is in the internal cavity of the anal canal, you will probably have to go through a surgical procedure. However, if the damage is isolated in the external hemorrhoid, and there is no profuse bleeding, you should be able to treat the swollen hemorrhoid with non-surgical procedures.

Even if the external hemorrhoid is easily treated, you should take better care of your digestive tract by keeping your stool soft. As much as possible, be very mindful of the amount of fiber you eat everyday. Constipation occurs because you don’t include enough fiber in your diet.
