Treatment of Hemorrhoids

Hemorrhoids is not something serious and could be treated with simple home remedies.  Over ten million Americans suffer from some form of hemroids.  This is a condition wherein the veins in the anal canal swell and cause pain and bleeding.  This is caused by straining and putting pressure on the veins.

As the veins swell and stretch too much from the blood that is pushed through it when straining, they could be squeezed too far out into the rectal canal and anal opening and cause pain.  Veins that bulge out of the anal canal are called external hemorrhoids. Blood pools from external hemorrhoids can also form hard lumps of blood clots that are painful.  Treatment for external hemorrhoids is simple.

The best way for external hemorrhoids to be treated is to eat a healthy diet that is rich in fiber.  Gradually introduce more fiber into your diet by eating more fresh fruit and vegetables.  Whole grains are also recommended as part of a
healthy diet for hemorrhoids.  Hydration to aid in digestion and stool formation is also important.
